W. Bowers is a family business founded in 1947 by Roger's parents Billie & Josephine Bowers. It has been painstakingly built on trust and traditional values. On offering warmth and sensitivity when most needed. On providing total support and a complete service. Each stage in harmony with the next. A devotion to detail. And by proving again and again that it can make the suitable arrangements for you quickly, quietly and without fuss.

Chris Sunley
Chris joined the company as Roger Bowers' personal assistant and office manager bringing his experience and background within the service industry, along with proven business development skills. Chris is now funeral director and manager of W.Bowers, based at Harrogate and covering Knaresborough, his childhood home, from the "New Approach" office in the Market Square.

Stephen Hassell
For many Stephen is the voice on the telephone, based at our Hampsthwaite office. Stephen is an expert organiser and W.Bowers' accounts and financial controller.

Frances Sunley
Our most recent and welcome addition to the company, well known in Knaresborough for her warm smile and friendly nature, looking after the day to day running of our "New Approach" office in Knaresborough Market Square.
